ICOMOS is an international non-governmental organization of professionals, dedicated to the conservation of the world's historic monuments and sites. The Global Heritage Fund's mission is to enable successful long-term preservation of mankind's most important Global Heritage cultural sites in developing countries with acute pressures and without resources for preservation and planned development. Over 90% of GHF funding goes directly to on-site preservation and planned development projects backed by the long-term support of local communities.
